Two Sculptors, Members of the Bowen Center for the Arts and Serving on the Dawson County Arts Council Board of Directors  , Betty Beasley and Allen Ferg, will be showing  their work in the prestigious “Sculpture in the South” exhibit in Summerville, S.C., just north of Charleston, on May 18th and 19th.  Thirty artists have been chosen in the southeast for this sculpture only show, with two being from Dawson County.

Beasley and Ferg, both world class  professional sculptors, have shown their works locally at the Bowen Center for the Arts, as well as regionally and nationally.  They will be having a joint show at the Bowen Center for the month of August. Both artists have taught sculpture to the  school children in the 21st Century after school program of Dawson County.
