Two Masters
For July, the Bowen will host two masters of art. Dahlonega resident Jack Anthony will exhibit his wonderful talents as a masterful photographer. Jack is also a prolific publisher of successful books, and his photographs have been published in many other books and periodicals. His photographs are also displayed in many local restaurants and professional and civic buildings, some through Jack’s generous donations.
Also exhibiting is former Atlanta resident, Susan L. Richardson. She will be displaying her award-winning style with bold oil paintings of North Georgia locales and near her current residence in Apalachicola, FL. Her paintings are also displayed in several galleries in Atlanta and in Florida.
This marvelous exhibit runs July 8 through 26. The Bowen invites you to come meet this wonderful and lively duo at their reception Friday, July 11 at 5 pm. Then at 6 PM, enjoy Moonlight & Music with the Sounds of Sawnee Jazz Band from Cumming. Bring your own basket of food and gather with friends to enjoy art, music and dancing. Admission to the music event is $5 with donations going to the band.
