The Monet Golf Tournament was held Monday August 12, 2013 at Crystal Falls Golf Course in Dawsonville, GA. The tournament was hosted by the Bowen Center for the Arts, the location of the Dawson County Arts Council. The event hosted golf for 96 Lady golfers, a luncheon for non golfers, and a silent auction. It was an action packed day with everyone having Fun.
Patti McDonald and Mary Evans were the golf tournament directors. They did a fantastic job of contacting the ladies for golf, registering the players, and managing the on course needs of the golfers.
Nancy McNeill and Nancy King with the help of Dru Stowers, Julia Swift and Lisa Studebaker set up the silent auction. There were wonderful items that were up for bid and a list will be shown in another post.
Thanks to all the DCAC board members, the many volunteers and the lady golfers who helped to make this event a success!
We had one golfer, Judy Finke from Big Canoe, who made a Hole- in -One and won a cash prize from Martin Milton Honda. Unfortunately it was not the Car Hole- in- One, but just the same we are delighted.
