Admission to Bowen exhibitions is FREE. View the historical OLD ROCK SCHOOL building in downtown Dawsonville! Dawson County Arts Council began efforts in 1998, finishing in 2000, to renovate the 1941 Department of Vocational Agriculture building within the County school campuses. The building was also used for school classes in Shop, Home Economics and Band/Choir.

Today, it is home to The Bowen Center for the Arts full of arts & cultural events, concerts, exhibitions, educational luncheons, community meetings, local club events and meetings, summer art camps – and more! The moment you walk in the doors, it will take your breath away. Our goal is offer this building to the community and be an advocate of the arts to further creative goals and produce amazing displays and events.
