The GREAT OUTDOORS Art Show at the BOWEN
Results of People’s Choice Awards
The BOWEN Center for the ARTS continues to entertain members and visitors from all over with art. On Friday, January 9, the BOWEN held its opening reception and awards for the The GREAT OUTDOORS ART SHOW with twenty-eight talented artists and over 60 artworks. People’s Choice Votes were cast and First Prize was awarded to J.B. Fox of Dahlonega for his photo of a cold, wet little “Bluebird”, Second Prize to Fred Pember of Dawsonville for his photo “Sunrise at Two Mile Creek” and Third Prize to John Seibel of Dawsonville for his photo of “Yajapai Point Sunset”. Also, all artists received gifts in appreciation of their hard work and contributions to the art community. Year after year, they continue to grace the walls of the BOWEN with beautiful art. This exhibit runs until to February 20, 2015.
