Dawson County Arts Council and Bowen Center for the Arts is proud to announce Catherine Pichon, DCAC Artist and Monet Ladies Charity Golf Classic Signature Artist for 2014, won in the XXXV National Exhibition sponsored by the Georgia Watercolor Society. Acclaimed artist and author, Mel Stabin, AWS, NWS, was judge, juror and workshop instructor for the show. He is considered to be the top 10 in the United States. Mr. Stabin chose only 68 pieces from 307 paintings by 150 artists.
Catherine’s piece “Splash-Splash” was selected 3rd place. This National exhibition was held at Carrollton Cultural Arts Center, Carrollton, GA.
